Kowloon and Hong Kong Island are the two most densely populated regions of Hong Kong. Kowloon is located in the south part of the mainland beneath the Western and Eastern New Territories and north of Hong Kong Island.

Waterfront Promenade
The Waterfront Promenade in Kowloon is a great place for walking and relaxation with its` stunning views of Hong Kong harbor as well other attractions including the Avenue of Stars where stars of Hong Kong and Chinese cinema are paid tribute to through pavement slabs similar to those used in Hollywood. Some stars are famous throughout the world including the legendary Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Ziyi Zhang and many others.

This is also a great location to see the symphony of lights which takes place every night around 8pm. The symphony of lights is a spectacular free light & music show where a multitude of colored lights shoot up into the dark night sky from the top of various buildings and skyscrapers on Hong Kong island.

Museum of Art
There are many museums around Kowloon including the Museum of Art which houses both traditional and contemporary works of art by Hong Kong and Chinese artists. The museum is open daily from 10am to 6pm except for Thursday and some public holidays. The museum has free admission on Wednesday.
